Glassrahmen und Nikon 5000 mit SF-210

I'm looking at the 5000 Nikon scanner and the SF-210 slide feeder.
Most of my slides are mounted in Gepe AntiNewton mounts with glass on both
sides of the slide. The rest of them are in Else AntiNewton with glass.
In the testarticle on filmscanner.info the author writes: "Dias mit beidseitigem Glasrahmen bleiben
fast kategorisch hängen und können sogar Schäden im Feeder verursachen;
solche
Dias sollte man besser gar nicht mit dem SF-210 digitalisieren."
Can anybody tell me, if my mounts are what they call "beidseitigem Glasrahmen" ?
It's okay to answer in german!

Hi!
I am also scanning GEPE ANTI NEWTON slides with glass on both sides, and it works pretty good with my Nikon LS4000ED with the slide feeder. I'd never had problems with that combination!!! But there are some quality mistakes when you scan glass mountet slides, especially Anti Newton ones.
I am scannning about 8000 slides (all of them have glass on both sides) and for my best pictures I put them out of the Glass slides.. to get better results.. there is really a big difference!! Its a lot of work but its worth it!!
Thats my experience! Good luck to you!

Thanks to "mount" for the answer!
I still wonder, what is "beidseitigem Glasrahmen" (my german is not so good). Could anyone explain it to me?

Well, it's pretty simple:
"Beidseitige Glasrahmen" are slide-mounts with glas on both sides ...

))
That's what You have got ...

If my memory is correct: about fourty years ago AGFA made slide mounts which were completely made of glass (no plastic or metal frame). I think that's what
Patrick Wagner means by 'Doppelseitigen Glasrahmen', which means: 'a glass frame on each side'. Hope this helped you in some way.
Best regards.
