Das ist nicht skurril sondern genau so gewollt und steht doch auch so in der Hilfe erklärt!
Wie ich oben geschrieben habe: habe ich das ja absichtlich so gemacht: dann sehen die Bilder bei mir zumindest genau so aus wie ich es für den Fall haben wollte. Mit der Methode kann man ja auch nachträglich noch ein Farbprofil das man z.B. beim Kalibrieren des Scanners erzeugt hat zuweisen.
Ich meine hier im Forum gibt es einen anderen Beitrag zu dem Thema mit Beispielen dazu.
NS1: ich kalibriere momentan immer nur den Bildschirm (hardwaremäßig), Scanner wird nicht kalibriert, Farbmanagement in IrfanView ist ausgeschaltet
NS2: nur zur Sicherheit nicht das wir über vollkommen unterschiedliche Dinge reden, Auszug aus der IrfanView Hilfe:
"Enable color management: some JPG/TIF files are saved with an embedded color profile and this option will use the profiles. You can set the current monitor profile set in your Windows display settings, or set a custom ICC/ICM file.
If you activate Apply also for images without embedded color profile, color management will be used for ALL (!) loaded images, which makes the loading much slower.
For images without an embedded color profile, you can set a custom input ICC/ICM file. Default is sRGB.
You can apply the profile to the original colors only if the LCMS PlugIn is installed.
Note: the color profiles make the image loading much slower."
